Windows has just done an auto update. Now it wants to restart every 5 minutes. Apparently its an emergency and it wont allow any delays unless I constantly tell it not to. Can I stop this? Its annoying.

Yeah, sorry that was a bit dumb of meMaybe I shouldnt drink. Its still annoying though cos I'm going to have to remember to turn it on again. Oh well, thanks for letting me know.
you don't have to turn it on again, you can just do it manually.
I'm lazy so I don't know whats better: me having to remember to update, or me having to switch off updates then have to remember to switch em on again. Anyway, I think its my bed time![]()
Or you can get the relevant updates and hotfixes manually from microsoft.com, and stuff the silly update tool.
