Booting through USB sticks

I wanted to try installing the SUSE-10.2 through the internet this weekend and have downloaded the .iso image. However, i wanted to try to boot my system through my USB stick. I downloaded the software that is required to make my stick bootable, and also checked with my BIOS. There is a section in the advance configurations, which reads

USB-boot [Enabled ]

However, in the boot-priority section, the USB drive's name does not show up. What should i do to set my USB drive as the first boot drive?

Are you sure your usb drive is bootable? Which software did you use to make the usb bootable ?

Is the USB stick plugged in while you are in your BIOS? For me it wouldn't appear otherwise.

I used "HP Drive Key Boot utility Version 7.41.2790.0 ".
I tried it out on a newer comp and i was able to get it to boot through the USB stick. But, i was wondering how to start the installation from that point. The .iso file that i downloaded is present in one of the directories. Has anyone tried this before? I was referring to this : http://en.opensuse.org/Released_Version

If you want to start installation without burning the .iso file to a CD, then you have to extract the .iso file to your usb drive or to the hard drive. The .iso file is kinda a zip file which contains the actual setup file and other files in it.

ok. I did that. Which is the file that i need to execute to actually connect to the server where I can begin the entire process?
