    Express Edition resource editor?

    Hello,

    do i really need a resource editor (Pelles C, for example) if i want to work with
    the C++ Express edition and using WinAPI?

    You only need a resource editor if you intend to use it. DevC++ and MSVC++ both have the ability for you to create resource files to add to a project. As long as you have the editor and compiler you should be ok.
