use program that can copy files opened for writing (I'm using Far manager)
All problems in computer science can be solved by another level of indirection,
except for the problem of too many layers of indirection.

With Far Manager 1.70 I get a nice big red requester with white lettering that says
“File Sharing Violation Can Not Copy ????.tmp to c:\...” with the word “error” on it.

Far Manager seem to be only a dos gui for things I can already do in dos.

You have to find in the setting
"Copy files opened for writing" (or something like this) and check it. By default it is off
this is not a dos - command prompt application

Click 9 options then system settings then copy files open for writing. Did all three ways default copy and inherent. And other three buttons all three ways. What is f10-tree?

    Still got error.
