Questions about getting a mac??

Hi guys. Im thinking about getting a MAC pc because of the recent change to the intel processer, so you can know run windows xp in dual boot.

My question is can you do a full overwrite on "os x" if you want to. I know that MAC's would never need to be overwritten but it's just a preference. Also if you buy a mac does it come with the disks needed to do so.

no...... I just want to know is it easy and possible to do a full overwrite like windows 98/95.ME. I want to be able to remove any "undeleted files" that someone could ghost.

You're not explaining yourself very well. You want to know if you have the ability to overwrite the entire disk? Well of course you do...

And Mac OS X has a Secure Empty Trash feature, too.

Or do you mean you want to be able to reinstall the OS from scratch? You can do that, too; it has the OS X disk in the box.
