Exclamation A very very bad problem here...

I get a "access denied" error when I try to veiw my CD/DVD or Stick Drive.
And there are little locks on the icons too; showing the fact it's not a hardware problem. Restarting doesn't do anything about it, and I am the administrator of this computer. Help didn't help either. I am running XP Media Center Edition.

    Please help, Queatrix.

Go into the Device Manager and see if they have any problems.

No problems, is says they are running fine.

    Yes.

    >> Viruses?
Now that you mention it, when I restarted, I was able to access my Stick Drive before the computer fully started up, but while I was veiwing it explorer suddenly cut me out of it and said "access denied".

Explorer If it is only on this computer, it's probably a hardware issue or viruses. Try running a scan.

No, I found it. My "Acer Managment" program automaticly locked them and 7 other devices. So I unlocked them and they are fine now. Thanks for the help anyway.
