    Screen Shots

I'm sure there is a simple answer to this but I have never had the need to do it...

How can I take a screenshot of my program output, for example, to display on a thread on this board?

I have seen so many of them here but I am not sure how to capture my program output to (I assume) a file to upload.

The print screen button copies the screen to the clipboard as a bitmap (use paint to get at it).
alt-print screen copies the current window.

Use MS Paint (or your fave image editor) to save the result as a PNG say.
If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.
