I am trying to set up port forwarding on a D-Link DI-624 router for several applications (servers, w3, slsk, aim file sharing), but nothing seems to be working. I have been trying to get this to work for so so long. Everyone I ask on the internet seems frustrated when threads trail on for pages and nothing ends up working. Well. Okay. Let's list some stats:
Static IP: 192.168.0.150
I think ipconfig confirms this
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0Code:Windows IP Configuration Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection: Media State . . . . . . . . . . . : Media disconnected Ethernet adapter Wireless Network Connection 2: Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.150 Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.1
Default gateway: 192.168.0.1 (Router)
I was also advised by my ISP, comcast, to have preferred DNS addresses (would never resolve the DNS first time, links had to be clicked twice, now fixed)
Preferred DNS: 205.171.3.65
Secondary DNS: 205.171.2.65
Now some things I have on my router.
Home => DHCP has all the IP's in the DHCP client list. My entry is at the top, and is FAMILY 192.168.0.150 too. Here, for example, are some entries for warcraft 3.
And for AIMCode:Advanced => Virtual Servers Name: warcraft3 Private IP: 192.168.0.150 Protocol: IP(0) 6112/6112 Schedule: Always Advanced => Firewall Action Name: Allow warcraft3 Source: WAN, * Destination: LAN, 192.168.0.150 Protocol: IP (0), 6112
I have also added entries in the Applications column, but this was not instructed in any manuals. I have followed several of these.Code:Advanced => Virtual Servers Name: aim Private IP: 192.168.0.150 Protocol: IP(0) 5195/5195 Schedule: Always Advanced => Firewall Action Name: Allow aim Source: WAN, * Destination: LAN, 192.168.0.150 Protocol: IP (0), 5195

And probably a few more misc tidbits of info that have come off the internet, and equivalent ones for aim, slsk, apache. Any help is very appreciated!
