    POST: cgi string

    say i wanted to use POST to run a cgi script from a client i've written, what string would i send it?

    this is how you would request with a GET method
    "GET / HTTP/1.0\n\n";

    i can't seem to figure out the POST method..

    i keep getting 404's with
    "POST /cgi-bin/myscript.pl HTTP/1.0\n\n";
    or
    "POST /cgi-bin/myscript.pl?foo=bar HTTP/1.0\n\n";

    Try this:

    POST http://www.server.com/cgi-bin/myscript.pl HTTP/1.0
    or

    POST /cgi-bin/myscript.pl HTTP/1.0
    Host: www.server.com
