After a long moral struggle of deciding what to use as a desktop OS (used a mixture of FreeBSD and Linux for apps that bastards make that don't run on BSD properly). Although I prefer BSD I am migrating to gentoo because I simply can't have two desktops and I need a number of apps which run incorrectly on BSD.
Here is my disk layout:
Disk 1 (80GB): [70GB FreeBSD ufs2][10GB XP ntfs]
Disk 2 (80GB): [50GB Linux Ext3][30GB shared ext2]
I want my disk layout to be:
[80GB Linux]
[50GB XP][30GB shared]
I want to move and expand my XP parition so I don't have to reinstall all my crap, but parition magic says my (whole) disk 1 is of parition type "BAD". Is there anything I can do to fix this?
Thanks.
