    What editor do you use?

Assuming you just use a non-integrated editor what do you use?

I am using Notepad++ currently, it's pretty niffty and has a lot
of useful feature, although not perfect, like me

The search on the latest version seems to fail sometimes but
it has some useful features for navigating source code.

I like the way it reloads modified files too.

I assume you use windows, take a look in crimson editor and vim.

I use vim. I tried emacs once, but I did not like it. Vim is good though once you get used to it. It scares allot of people because of it's "I eat noobs" learning curve though. Peaple get scared to use it and just ditch it.

I use vi but recently switched from bsd to linux so I would have no trouble installing some stuff, so now I use vim. Never tried emacs but I know a number of people that that really like it; vi is just so simple and fast. When doing windows stuff I use VS.

I stick to VS but have tried Crimson Editor in the past. On Linux I stick to Vim.
Good class architecture is not like a Swiss Army Knife; it should be more like a well balanced throwing knife.

"Finding the smallest program that demonstrates the error" is a powerful debugging tool.
