    linux removal

I'm done with the aps that I needed linux for, and due to Audacity's rather large project files I need it back for windows now. How do I get rid of that partition and merge it back into the other? I would just boot a live cd, but I lost it and don't feel like downloading another

I use paragon partition manager. That way you can remove your linux partitions and merge / create new ones for windows without having to reboot. You'll probably also need to boot up the Windows recovery CD and run fixmbr unless you installed the boot loader on your Windows partition. I think.

EDIT: Oh yeah, when I didn't have PPM I just used the Windows recovery disc and ran diskpart from the recovery console to delete the linux partitions, create new NTFS / FAT32 ones and fixmbr.

Exqactly the same thing I did, and it worked well.
Gotta love the "please fix this for me, but I'm not going to tell you which functions we're allowed to use" posts.
