internet connection sharing and a little more

    Hello friends,
once again, I need your advice. i have two computer in home LAN. I'm using static IP 192.168.0.1 (new comp) and 192.168.0.2 (old comp).
I'm using windows XP. I'm trying to share dila up connection. I use network wizard on both comps. On first I choose this computer connects directly through internet, and on second I choose to connect through LAN. Both wizards finish fine, but no real use. Seccond computer cannot access internet, and I have no clue why.
    Did you have similar experience?

Also I noticed that recently that when computer starts there is a lot of disk activity, CPU usage is 100% and it seeks floppy. I use Norton AV, but I see it's disabled during that process. How to switch off seeking floppy?
    Thanks for help!
Gotta love the "please fix this for me, but I'm not going to tell you which functions we're allowed to use" posts.

From your BIOS, make your HDD the first boot device.I think the floppy is the first boot device by default.

Hmm, I'm experiencing that problem while windows is finishing loading...
And, of coures, HDD is first on boot list.

There are options both in your BIOS and Windows to disable floppy seek on bootup.

As far as the ICS, it never really worked well for me... that's why I bought an external hardware lan modem.
