    Would anybody care to give a good recommendation for a router?

    The cheapest one you can find with the capabilities you need, provided that it is made by either a company you have heard of or one that has more than one model.

    Linksys fan here as well. Wired or wireless, they're great.

    Linksys or netgear are good. I have a linksys and can't really complain. My network doesn't work however...and no one has ever been able to fix it, even on networking forums so who knows...might not be linksys problem.

    I use a D-Link 604 and I have no complaints!

    From my experiences with networking and routers, I absolutely hate Linksys and D-Link for many reasons which I don't feel like typing up.

    My favorite is netgear. Belkins are also nice.

    If you are really interested in routers and have lots of money than get a cisco router... Lol they are so damn expensive, but they are really good.
