Win.com

I have an old Windows 98 platform that lately has caught numerous trojans. My virus scan wasn't getting rid of them, so I had to manually do it myself. While doing so, I accidentally and stupidly deleted the win.com file that the system registry refers to. As a result, when booting my PC I get a boot error, and am not allowed to load Windows in any mode (including Safe Mode). The win.com file is in my recycling bin folder, but I can't get on to Windows to restore it. :\ If you can help me please help, thanks alot

You can get LiveCD Linux distros designed specifically for system recovery. You could have a look into that, or jsut reinstall Windows if there's nothing unrecoverable on your system.
