I want download Skype for Linux Red Hat 9.1 but I dont know what and does can be done?

This is copy pase of .rpm for download. What shall I download for my Red Hat.
    Code:
RPM for SuSE 9 and newer (5.6 MB)

    Version: 1.0.0.20. Release date: March 18, 2005.

RPM for Mandrake 10.1 and newer (5.6 MB)

RPM for Fedora Core 3 (5.6 MB)

    Debian package (5.7 MB)
Xandros, MEPIS, Ubuntu, other Debian-based distros

    Dynamic binary tar.bz2 (5.7 MB)
    Requires Qt 3.2

Static binary tar.bz2 with Qt 3.2 compiled in (8.3 MB)
Use if the above don’t work.

Some installation packages are signed. Download the public key to verify the signatures.
    Completly new to Linux.!

And further. If I see something like this. For what Linux do I download if Red Hat isnt in list.
And what is deference between Red hat and Fedora Core

Red Hat Linux is an old out dated linux distro. Half way through the development of Red Hat Linux 10, the name was changed to Fedora Core and the stable entriprise builds were named Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

First off, uninstall Red Hat 9... then install Fedora Core 3.. then type "yum install <package>"
If you need some good yum repo's, post back here and Ill show you some.

For Fedora Core also I can download if doesent write that is for Fedora Core .rpm for Red Hat

    Also one more question.
What is difference between i386 and i686?

I heard something that i383 is for 386, 486 and Pentium
    and i 686 is Pentium 2, 3, 4 and so on!

Can I download i383 and install it on all boards. Beacuse I have surf a bit on google and I find some interesting Linux software but only i386 package.?

    I found my Answer
    Code:
I'm confused whats the difference between i386 and i686? Whats IA32 and IA64? How do I know which software to download!!!

The "i" in i<insert number> stands for Intel and means "intel x86 based hardware" this includes AMD chips as well as Intel and Cyrix processors. The number is based on the specific type of processor and its features.

For instance i386 is built to run on a 386DX processor and higher

686 runs on P4's, and Athlon XP processors.

IA32 and IA64 are references to Intel again and its mean Intel Architecture, the numbers 32 and 64 stand for "bit" so either 32 bit (which include all Athlon and Pentium processors). 64 bit processors are AMD's Operton and Intel's Itanic processor.

So why does all this matter?

Software can be optimized to run better on specific platforms and architectures so running a program built for i386 will run on an i686 processor but may lack some speed improvement versus if it were a native i686 compiled program.

Think of it as being given all the things necessary to make a hamburger and you get to arrange all the toppings and sauces just the way you want :) Instead of just being handed a ore-made hamburger.
