    Looking for a Linux distro

I already have mandrake linux 10.0 and would like to try another distro. At this time im downloading Knoppix to try it, i searched the net and found that many like Fedora. Any recommendations based on what you have used, that is good, reliable and has cool features?

Installed Ubuntu recently with very little trouble. Took a while for it to unpack everything, but it's going really smoothly now. It's a pretty good distro.

Fedora Core 4 test 1 was just released... I really like fedora, if your brave, try a full rawhide system (fedora devel).

Any *Linux* distro should be fine. If you go with Solaris or a BSD type distro you may have trouble with "made for linux" packages. Fedora gets my seal of approval.

A nice alternative to dual booting is Cooperative Linux. Basically, you get an image based off Gentoo or Debian and run it in Windows. I've tried it and found that it works well for my needs. I know that you already of have Mandrake installed, but for others who don't want to deal with the hassle of dual booting, you should definitely give this a shot. Also, it's nice for beginners since the install is relatively easy (just editing some command files) and you are able to ease yourself into the environment. You can even use X with it
