Outlook Issue on Win XP Pro

Hi. Can someone help me with the fact that MS Outlook 2000, which is my email client, archived an important message that I need to retreive. I need some resources. Thanks, Steve

You should have a set of folders for archived stuff available on your folder list. Otherwise, go to options and add the datafile (usually archive.pst)

I don't have this folder in my folder list.

I am probably being exteremly inept here, but I do not see anything in Options that would allow me to do this. There is an "Auto Archive" button, but I am leery of pushing that! Thanks, Steve

I have Outlook XP, and for that you go to Tools->Options->Mail Setup->DataFiles, though I imagine it's slightly different in 2000.

Try right click an existing filder on the list and see if it asks you to open an existing datafile

Hi. Thanks. No such option in either case. Steve

You could always try the import function, that can import PSTs.
