How to block Certain Countries using htaccess

    Hi there,

How do I go about blocking access to my site from certain countries, namely Russia, Ukraine & China?

I believe I can use a htaccess file to do this. What do I need to do?

    Thanks

To be honest, I have no idea, but....

Believe it or not, I stumbled on this right before coming here and saw your thread.

Strange, won't work this way for me but I found it in google, I searched on deny+allow but if you put "htaccess+block+country" you should see "I need to ban a country using htaccess". Small world.

Hope it helps, I fell on it by accident while searching on deny and allow statements for router access lists.

    LOL!

The link denied me access! Want's me to pay for access. However, I got in via Google.

Thanks. Looks like it could be helpful.
