Uh, no. I don't have flash but I believe that there is no way to do file I/O or delete files.

Flash does not provide the level of access to your files and such to delete files and destroy your computer. Although you can (And I have done) some malicious things with it. You can attempt to crash someone's computer with a movie that auto-spawns pop-ups forever and has loud-ass noises.

You can also auto-spawn a C++ program that will do some sort of harm to the computer. If you work around things, Flash can actually do just about anything (3D games, create viruses, all sorts of goodies). So actually, YES, through some means, Flash can be used to destroy a computer or take some malicious action in some way or another.

Flash can harm your computer. The old jib jab video used to hold a virus within it. Don't be fooled.

Maybe it can. But who care. Good and easy animations are created in flash!

If you're on the internet you can get a virus...don't go disabling flash because you think you're going to get a virus. Just don't go to sites you don't trust.

    FYI
if you play flash games and crap online i'd be more worried about spyware from those damned online game sites.
