    speaking of defragging hard drives got me to thinking...the server at work has been getting kinda sluggish lately....here's a screenshot of the defragging process (keep in mind this is only a 6gig drive)

    and spybot search and destroy www.download.com

    i run a constant file server (ftp), webserver (apache/mysql), aim, norton, bit comet (idle), ares lite (idle), etc and out of my 1gig of ram i am only using 37%.....something is eating you up bro.

    Hey waldo if you boot into safe mode you can defrag a lot more since a majority of those green "unmovable files" won't be in use

    yeah I know but I was wanting to leave today and it takes like 10 minutes to reboot into safe mode

    you can say that again, the school I work for is a bunch of cheap bastards, they could only afford to put a new mobo and proc (duron 1.3 ::makes stroking motion: into an old case and I had to pay for the ram out of pocket for the project I was creating (tech-request submission) which required a web/smtp server. I made 200 off it, but still. Now they're cutting back my hours to next to nothing and giving me a pay cut cause the school board is a bunch of moron tight-arses so I'm quitting as soon as I get another job (prob. in about a week).
