i have a AMD/Athlon machine 2500+ 1.8 gigz. which is fairly new i just got the parts in and put togethor about a week ago. im thinking about bringing the FSB from 166(333) up to 200(400). my case has a built in thermometer, is usually 95°F-100°F (35°C-37°C) so do you think i should overclock? whats the hottest i should ever let it get?

You'd be pushing it beyond, say, 40C idling and 50C - 60C under heavy load. CPU manufacturers like to say that 80C or so is an upper limit, but if you get near that you've got problems. One thing you need to keep in mind is that performance will generally be better when the temperature is kept to a minimum. It couldn't hurt to invest in a nice liquid cooling system, then your only worry would be stability. :)

Don't be a tightwad. :D The biggest problem with liquid cooling is that if it's a low quality system, it may leak. And you should have no problem imagining the problems that water dripping all over the inside of your PC case can cause. ;)
lol i was being sarcastic, im just going to not OC, actually i might just to see how it runs.
is it even possible to have a liquid cooling system, i dont see how you could put one on. lol

Yep, it runs through pipes. Some people even use liquid nitrogen. Now that's pretty damn cold.
