    I have slackware 9.1 on my p2 233
    it runs ok.
    some stuff lags.
From reading on the freebsd site, I have found that they claim their version of unix runs exceptional on older archaic technologies like 486 & 686

FreeBSD was hard for me, I tried to 'su' to root, and, THERE WAS NO SU!!!
I then edited my sudoers file, but it seems the synatx is different.

Now I know why its said to be more secure that GNU/Linux.
