    Why doesnt Regedit Work!?

All of a sudden my regedit doesnt work on my computer. When i got to run... and type regedit it runs for about .5 seconds and then closes. What is up with that?

Virus maybe? Something trying to prevent you from deleting its entries in the registry (self-defense mechanism)? lol... who knows... Or maybe your computer's just going crazy I know mine is, it found around 3200 errors on the harddrive when I booted up earlier...

This, I believe, what one of the "features" of MSBlast, can't remember for sure. It is DEFINATLY caused by a few viruses out there though.

why not just use a third party registry editing tool to look for bad stuff?

btw we still need to know what windows version it is in case it's not a virus.
