    volume licensing?

I'm looking into getting a volume license package for windows xp. I'm looking right now at the select package: http://www.microsoft.com/licensing/p...l/default.mspx
And I'm looking at getting it from cdw: http://www.cdw.com/shop/products/def...spx?EDC=337562
Now, it says that the media isn't included. Does that mean that they give me say 250 keys, and I use one cd for the install. Or does that mean they give me one key good for 250 computers? I'm lost in all the stupid lingo they use. Can anyone clear this up for me?

I think that means you get 250 keys and one cd.

ok cool, just wanted to make sure I didn't go off and buy something I couldn't use. I'll probably give cdw a call to check just to make sure.

that sounds like a pretty dang good deal, as I have around 6-10 computers around the house, I might just have to get that deal.

    a) It's upgrade, not full install.
    b) Must be a Microsoft Select 6.0 Customer to Purchase
Naturally I didn't feel inspired enough to read all the links for you, since I already slaved away for long hours under a blistering sun pressing the search button after typing four whole words! - Quzah

    thanks,
I didn't mean the one from that link particularly, but a volume deal like it, from the select plan.
