    USB 1.1 or 2 ?

    Hey guys,

I have four usb ports, 2 are built-ins and the others are from pci card. I want to know which ports are 1.1 or 2. I don't have mother board manuals, I lost it all. Is there any utility to check?

Go to the motherboard's manufacturer website. Maybe you shouldn't have lost the manual.

device manager -> Universal Serial Bus Controllers

everything that's USB 2 will say so... you can plug somethign specifically designed for USB 2.0 in each port and search for new hardware... the system will tell you that a high-speed device is in a 1.1 port or something like that...
