You may also want to look at the ATI Radeon 9800 Pro. Both it and the GeForce FX 5950 are right up there in performance, though the 9800 is better at DX9, but the 9800 Pro is generally cheaper.

What are you looking for? High end, medium, or low?

High = Radeon 9800 (Pro or XT) / GeForce FX 5900 and 5950 (ultra both case)

Medium = Radeon 9600 (Pro or XT) / GeForce FX 5900 SE or 5700 Ultra

Low = Radeon 8500 / GeForce FX 5600 Ultra or GeForce 4 Ti series.

    [edit[
And then of course there's budget cards, but if you're interested in gaming I wouldn't reccomend ANYTHING lower than what I said up there and that inludes the GeForce FX5200 series and FX5600 SE card, both of which are gigantics piles of crap.

    - ATI Radeon 9800 Pro
is the card may support most of the games nowadays? it seem that Deus Ex might not supported with ATI card. That's why i still consider whether should buy this card.

which deus ex? In the case of the new one, forget it, as that has to have been one of the cruddiest FPSs ever made(all guns use one type of ammo, no differential damage based upon hit body locations, etc. .). In the case of the old one, I have run it fine on all of the recent ati cards (9500-9800 pro).

read the reviews on different sites, and you will see what I mean(I presume you know about GameSpot, AVault, etc. ?) . This is moving away from the original topic; however, it is important in your decision of a graphics card. Do you like playing the latest , most of the time not Greatest videogames? What type of games are your favourite: FPSs, RTSs, RPGs?

    - yeah, i still remembered that even NOLF title also couldn't supported by ATI too. i think that it's still unstable yet.

    - i will playing each of them if the game was superb nice .
