Long story short: The Texture Tool (dxtex.exe) that comes with the dx9 sdk won't run on my system.
Heres the error message:
Unable to create Direct3D device. Please make sure your desktop color depth is 16 or 32 bit.
Well, my desktop is in 32bit, so thats not the problem. Just wondering if anyone else around here has encountered this problem and has a solution.
I did google - no solutions.
I have a gf2 if that matters (i dont think a texture tool would be that hopped up, would it?)
