    Webcam Software

    Hello,

I am trying to setup a security system in my house and I have one camera in the garage and the other in the front door. What is good software to watch out of both these cameras over the network?

    Thanks for your help,
    Daniel

Yea we would have to know how it works. My security system cameras all run into a "hub" with regular phone line and then the hub runs a cat 5 cable into my pc. I use the system-specific software that came with the system. If your going via USB you can get a USB hub to run all the cameras at one time and get a software (download.com?) to control them.

If you plan on recording everything you will need a really big hard drive as un-compressed video ads up.
