    IE & msn

I formated my computer and installed win98. Now I have a problem with IE. Every time I open it this msn window popups to get msn internet access. I already have internet access. I already completed the setup for my Bell sympatico internet access like last time. How can I open IE on win98 after formating my hardrive and reinstalling it?

    Thanx in advance!

Follow all the steps, and you should be good to go.
Naturally I didn't feel inspired enough to read all the links for you, since I already slaved away for long hours under a blistering sun pressing the search button after typing four whole words! - Quzah

In some cases having an MSN icon on the desktop can cause this. If there is one, delete it.

Well if you want one stop web browser. www.netscape.com

Netscape has almost every plug-ins that IE has and you don't need to download any toolbar for just popup blocker.

thanx everyone for you input. I'll be using mozilla. It has all the features that I need .

Edit: I installed mozilla then the browser popuped up. I saw the blue screen on win98 restarted and now mozilla won't open. I tryed reinstalling it but it still doesn't open. Any idea's?

    Thanx in advance!
