    Question geForce drivers

Does anyone else have problem with their geForce drivers (if you have a geForce card)?

I have a geForce 2, and its drivers are the main cause of my system stalling.

I used to have the drivers that came with it, but I installed the new drivers off of NVIDIA's website about 3 months ago, yet I still have problems.

YES, I downloaded the correct drivers (the WinXP drivers). And they are only 3 months old.

Yet the NVidia GeForce drivers have been the main cause of my computer stalling for several months.

Anyone know the problem, or had the same problem?

Maybe you need to rollback your drivers or something. Or just get a nice new GeForce

Have you tried the latest drivers? "only 3 months old" is pretty old.

the drivers that came with it (two YEARS ago) were the cause of the stalling, the drivers i downloaded 3 months ago are the current cause of stalling.

i dont think drivers 3 month later will fix that.

Well I guess you can't really say anything until you try. NVIDIA releases drivers to fix things exactly like what you're describing.

Yeah, my recommendation is to check for new drivers. They release new ones in less than 3 month intervals and it's usually good practice to keep up with them.

Also, if you've had problems with 2 different drivers, maybe it's not the drivers!?

I downloaded an nVidia driver one time that caused DirectX applications to kick my monitor out of range. Other than that, I've never had any problems with the drivers. I own a GeForce 2, 4, and FX and I haven't had a problem with any of them.
