    @home hostname

    I need to find my @home hostname that my ISP gives me. I am running winxp and don't know how to obtain it. I know in other OS you RMB my computer, properties then NetID. Does anyone know how to obtain it in winxp?

    Try just leaving it blank. It works in most cases.

    Maybe to clarify things, this is why i need to know.

    "Some cable modem services suppy you witha a host name that you must use as your computer's hostname inf order to obtain internet access. Many areas that are connected to the @home network require such an option."

    I need to know how to find out what hostname my ISP has provided me with.

    Call them. Who is your ISP?
