I have recently been running windows server 2003 one hundred and eighty day trial *sorry but this kb iis half broken*

I have a stupid freewwarre pogram that always forces me to update and download a new version of it every couple of days, so i iset myy clock back to 2002. When i started windows this morning i was told my trial expired and i cant use the computer. I have important data on there that i really want to get back, im so annoyed im going to install linux now but first i need to get that data off *its only a few hundred kb, sorry my bracket keys dont ork*. i can start in safe mode, but i cant go on the internet *starting with safe mode with networking also forces it to shutdown*. I also tried changing the clock back to the current year but that doesn't work.

Does anyone have any idea how i can start my computer up and go on the internet? i cant install my burning programs coz windows installer doesn't work in safe mode, and i cant use a floppy drive because theyy are all broken. IM SO ........ED OFF. and this keyboard is driving me nuts, its from a pentium one.

Well, I'm back, running mandrake linux 9. I was able to copy everything onto a 200mb partition and then formatted my primary partition and intsalled mandrake.

I quite like this setup, except why are the fonts so small in everything! I'm only running at 1024x768 resolution, yet normal fonts on this site and every other site look like they're size 5 or 6, not 9 or 10 like they should be. I'm using konqueror, but mozillia is doing the same thing. Does anyone know how to change that?

Apart from that qualm, everything else went fine, I even got my soundcard working (it was an ISA pnp one too )

yes i had that problem too...it's in view or something like that, you just change the text magnification...i have mine at 120%...that makes it look about normal
