    i want to know how function keys work in windows. I mean F1 to F12. They are definite function in some each applications. Where can I know exactly about it? Give me links please!

    Function keys are the result of event-driven code. The programmer of whatever application you are using has setup the application to respond to you pushing the function keys.

    How can we give you links when we don't know what application you are using??

    I want to know for Microsoft Office XP and Windows XP. For windows XP, like F2 is rename and F5 is refresh. Please tell me more.
