computer operation logs?

I have a suspicion that someone was on my computer in my office over the weekend. How can I know this for sure? Are there logs of some kind in windows? login records? It is windows 2000

there's logs for everything, you can get everything from logon times to file access times, trace last programs used. A lot of it is in the registry and a lot is in log files. Just google it man everything will be there.
