Your mobo manual should be a good start.
An h/warwe inventory program like Belarc Advisor, etc. might also be able to tell.

What if I don't have the manual? And do you have any link those h/w inventory programs?

Not sure if it will say anything of the version..
If you remember well the name of your mainboard, just go to the mfg's site and see all the details of your mobo there.
Also, I've heard ppl say that if it's Enhanced USB or something then you have 2.0, otherwise you're 1.1.
