    Question Connection problems

Hello, I just recently switched to a cable modem. But everytime I try to connect to the internet it brings up a dial-up screen. I have to click work offline then type in the adress I want and then type in connect to get it working. But being on cable that screen should never pop-up. Any know how I could fix this?
Knowledge is power and I want it all

Do you still have a dialup connection listed as your primary connection?

Tools->Internet Options->Connections and then delete everything
Naturally I didn't feel inspired enough to read all the links for you, since I already slaved away for long hours under a blistering sun pressing the search button after typing four whole words! - Quzah

Not really. That just lets you view and release/renew your IP address.
