Taskbar

I just restored XP on my PC and my start menu/taskbar disapeared.

I can hit the "windows' key and go to stuff blindly (it never shows the menu) So if I hit WIN KEY, "c", "c", ENTER it brings up control panel. When I go to Taskbar options, it wont show the window but the process was made.

I need spme help on this one.

try restoring again, if that fails backup all of your files onto cd or whatever, format and start with a fresh install. I think those are your only 2 options, i don't believe there's an option somewhere that says "hey make the taskbar invisible". I think files were missing or damaged when windows was restored. Good luck, get back to us on how it went.

I got it...

I had to create a new user account. The original one was corupt in some way :confused:
