Defrag ??

Hi , new to linux and was wondering , does the partitions/mounts ever have to be defragmented ?? I dont know of any progs to do this yet.

No, the filesystem is structured in such a way to minimise fragmentation.

Defragging is very rarely, if ever, needed.
