    I download alot of software from there like giFT. Alot of times if software isn't officially released it is the only place to get it. But no I don't know enough to get involved in any big projects yet so I don't use it to upload my own code etc. It seems to be pretty popular and widely used.

    If I knew enough about programming and I wanted to start a project I would read more into it and most likely go that route and use it.
