laptop specs, plz advice
I'm currently loking for a 2nd-hand laptop.
And i stumbled on this page. They are asking 350 EUR for it. And another one is this , and this one costs 300 EUR.
Now what would you guys do? (dont say buy a new one coz i aint got the cash for it.), is a Toshiba laptop of good quality, or should i rather go with the dell one?

A laptop with the name Dell on it would be a very reliable machine on first thought. IMHO, I believe Dell laptops isn't very reliable, all the time. The reason I stressed out the word "all the time" is that most of the low-end models are lousy and some of the high-end models are very reliable.
On the other hand, Toshiba is a better choice for notebook. From almost all aspects the Toshiba is better than Dell. The only thing that brings down Toshiba is its weight. Most of its models are damn heavy...

Well too late, decided to get myself a dell (2nd hand though) gonna make the deal this evening.
Its a Dell latitude Cpt with 466 Mhz and 64 Mb ram, 5 gig Harddisk, internal cd-rom & floppy, ethernet-card, soundcard (dunno wich one), 1 usb port ..thats about it ..o and yeah price: EUR 350.
Hopefully this guy is home this evening coz he said theres already another potential buyer (but he goes to see the comp tomorow) and the one who sells the comp said, whoever is first overhere to buy it gets it... and i cant go tomorow so im really hopin this guy is home this evening ::fingerz crossed::

My Compaq Presario 2800 is cheap and EXTREMELY reliable.
Think about it if someday your Dell crashes.
