    Interesting to see that data mining was "invented" by IBM. It may be the case that they invented the terminology, hell, new names for old concepts are dreamt up all the time, but certainly searching for trends in contextless data is a very old passtime, far older than the "data mining" term.
    Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity unto the dream.
