i setup a network with a mr814 netgear router. the internet connection is working fine, but i cant get it to share files and printers. when i go into network neighborhood on the win 98se the only icon is entire network, when i click it then theres a message that says unable to access network and tells me to go look in network troubleshoot in help index but nothing works.... does anyone knows whats wrong and what can i do to fix it?

it sounds like either a ip or protocol error since u said u have f&p sharing on. What ip are you using on the 98 machine? and what protocals are listed (ie tcp/ip, netboui)
