nvidia gf2 in trouble!

is nividia gf2 mx400 can't support in win98 very well?

i found that, when i have install the device. i realise that everytime my win98 is started to loading. it's totally hanged, but i didn't touch anything.

after i install winXP, the problem have been solved. so isn't the device can't support on win98?

i have tested the graphic card. and i found that when i'm playing counter-strike on win98. the graphic quite is not quite good. and winXp work very well accordingly to the graphic card performance.
as ppl know, games which is played in win98 is better than winX. is it true? hmm..

No, the detonators are fully compatible with the GF2MX400 and with Win98... your problem was with either Win98 or your system config.

i have tried to change the setting. best graphic changed to best performance. but the it's won let me change the setting. sigh...

even, i set the core clock and others with max value. the result is also the same. so any comments and solution?

No I mean if your computer is locking up while booting with that card in it, I would blame something either on Windows, or your hardware settings in the BIOS

win 98 does not do well with the new detonator drivers for some reason. Try some of the older drivers with that card (same card I have) you will get better frame rates with the older drivers.

If I understood correctly, you overclocked your video card. That could be a reason for the hang on windows 98. Try default settings for the core clock, etc.

try getting the driver from the manufacurer instead of Nvida

seem gf2 nvidia doesn't work well in win98.

i have set the core clock and whole options with default settings. but the startup is still stable, but the graphic performance on CS on win98 very poor. i have tried to play this game in winXP, i realise the graphic look smooth and good performance.

oh dear! what should i do? i bet ELSA Ti is better!
