    Linux Modem

Hi. im having a hard time with my Linux OS reconizing my modem... i wonder if any one could help me. I got RedHat's Linux version 7.3, A conexant modem (i think) M$ windows sometimes reconizes it as a generic modem and sometimes as a conexant. The modem chip is conexant. I tryied going to the conexant page for getting drivers but they dont have any and some pages that used to have the drivers for conexant modems for Linux aint working anymore. Please if anyone can help me do so ive been trying to install it and i cant get it to work. Thanx

Conexant released linux drivers for HCF based modems a few days ago. Check out their website, you may be in luck. I finally got my Conexant chip modem to work in RH 7.3.
