Keeping all physics on APU, all visuals on GPU

    Hey guys,

I was just wondering, is it possible that if you had a system with both an APU and a GPU and you were making a videogame, could you write it so that all physics was done on the APU and everything visual on the GPU or are the memory timings on that prohibitive?

Granted, this is all going off of my incredibly shallow and non-existent understanding of non-GPGPU computing. I guess my question really is, is it possible to restrict GPGPU routines to the APU while keeping all GPU computing on the GPU.

Guess it would depend on whatever API you are using. Theoretically it should be possible.

Outside of your DOS world, your header file is meaningless.
