Is it possible to sync Android's calendar with our own program?

Is it possible to sync Android's calendar with our own calendar program on Android,using c/c++?

I had a look at Android Ndk docs,but I couldn't find what I was searching for.

google's calendar API is open and readily available, as far as I know.

yes. when you activate an android phone or tablet, you use a google account. that device becomes associated with every aspect of your google account, including the calendar.

Note, you CAN sync other accounts, including non-Google accounts, with the calendar as well. I have my work's Exchange calendar as well as my Google calendar for personal stuff. In fact I have quite a few calendars synching to my phone.
