    Program Compatibility Assistant

    Just started reading the book. Installed CodeBlocks and it seems to be working fine. I keep getting a popup from "Program Compatibility Assistant stating that "This program might require administrator privileges", with options of "Restart the program as an administrator" or "this program works correctly". I am running Windows 7 and version 12.11 of CodeBlocks. What action should I take? Thank you.

    Goto Code::Blocks
    Read their FAQ
    Read their Wiki
    Read their forum
    If you're still stuck, ask on their forum.
    If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
    If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.

    Thank you. Newbie here. Guess I got confused, since the book directed downloading of Code::Blocks. Should have thought of that.
