    Log Monitorization

    I'm working on a log monitorization coded in C.
    Any idea where I should start ?

    I meant Log Monitoring, sorry.

    And what kind of "log monitoring" are you trying to do? What operating system are you using? You need to supply much more information before anyone will be able to do anything to help you. This really seems like you need to do quite a bit more research so you can ask specific questions.

    At such an early stage, the language is irrelevant from my point of view. What about multitail (ncurses). swatch (perl)
    Is/are the files of a specific format?
    Do you need real time monitoring?
    Do you want mail alerts?
    Color/audio output to draw attention?
    Do you need graphical output?
    How do you want to configure for specific events?
