    Oracle Solaris Studio 12

Do any of you use it? It seems to me that it puts the "I" into IDE just a little more than any of the other "IDEs" available for Linux. I just started playing with it today, so I will reserve comment for now, but I was wondering if there were any others here that could comment on their experience with the software.

I have been thinking of trying it out since it poses an alternative to GCC (since it's free), as well as having full C99 compliance (I like taking advantage of C99 features), which is apparently a rarity among compilers.

To make a quick summary, it seems to be a very up-to-date technology-wise and fully-featured IDE/compiler, and best of all, it's free...but I have doubts since it comes from Sun/Oracle.
